UNIQUE VINTAGE ERA FRAME
ROSEYS™ LENSES BY ZEISS ITALY
1 OF 1 REFASHIONED IN SAN DIEGO
[CAUTION! LENS NOT SUITABLE FOR DRIVING]
In the 1980's, Bugatti began producing sunglasses that reflected the luxury and precision engineering of their renown cars, this is one of them. I found this pristine frame on my collection trip to the UK. A rare pair featuring dual toned arms and a unique aviator bridge.
UK BATCH
This pair is 1 of 74 unique vintage frames that were hand selected by the founder from a UK collector on ROSEYS' first sourcing trip to Europe.
In February 2024, I traveled to the UK to meet the vintage collector who sold me my first batch of frames. After a long train ride through green hills and a misty car ride with the collector, I got to see their entire collection in person. I looked through hundreds of frames. Almost all of them were the only one of its kind in their studio, curated for its style and history. I learned ways to determine authenticity and vintage era, heard how they got started collecting vintage eyewear almost a decade ago, and selected 74 unique frames to complete Group 1.
