How Lens Repair works:
- Place an order and reply to the order email with photos of your frames, front and back, include any additional repair notes.
- We will respond with a confirmation of repair (or a refund if we can't repair them).
- Mail us your glasses or lenses by the date specified in your confirmation. We will share a shipping label and video instructions for lens removal.
- Your ROSEYS will arrive in approximately 3-4 weeks or less, we will be in touch with updates.
- Follow the included instructions to participate in The Experiment.
PLEASE READ:
- REPAIR GUARANTEE: If we're unable to repair your frames upon delivery, we will refund you in full and return your product as is.
- INCLUDED REPAIRS: In addition to replacing your lenses, our Optical Team will give your frames a tune up which includes basic balancing, tightening, polishing, and replacing missing screws and nose pads, when possible.
- SPECIALTY REPAIRS: If we receive photos or mailed frames with significant damage that require repairs beyond the capabilities of our Optical Team, we will contact you with a quote to repair them at a nearby specialty shop.
- DAMAGE RISK AGREEMENT: By sending your items for repair, you acknowledge and accept that from the time they are received by the mailer, there is a risk of damage during handling and the repair process. You also agree that the items you send match the photographs provided with your order email, and you release ROSEYS Eyewear from liability for any damage, including damage rendering the items irreparable.

LENS
ROSEYS™ TINT
Color analyzed from roses by ROSEYS founder in California and developed by ZEISS in Italy, exclusively for The Experiment.
Tint varies by light from rose to deep red. Images depict lens worn in outdoor sun.
100% UVA/UVB protection. Category 3 filter. General purpose sunglasses. Not suitable for driving according to international optical standards (EN ISO 12312).
PROPERTIES
Hard coat for scratch resistance. Antireflective coat for clarity and visual comfort.
Front ROSEYS logo and wordmark.
Back ZEISS watermarks.
MATERIALS
LENS
Made in Italy with ZEISS polyamide for its universal frame compatibility and reduced CO2 emissions.
The entire ZEISS polyamide production chain, from material to lens, uses 100% renewable electricity.
40% bio-based raw materials (from waste produced by the agricultural industry) partially substitute fossil-based material in production using a mass balance approach.
These actions lead to reduced CO2 emissions in polyamide lens manufacturing (up to 50%). Certified by REDcert2 standard, a European sustainability certification system that verifies all stages of production.
UPCYCLED POUCH
Made in San Diego by Sew Cal Company with upcycled materials sourced by the founder.
FABRIC
Outer hemp canvas scrap material from FARO surfboard bags in San Diego.
Inner microfiber and canvas embroidery backing from Ragfinders' deadstock fabric warehouse in Los Angeles.
DRAWSTRING
Upcycled in Spain by Ganxxet with cotton fabric waste from the garment industry. Color is undyed and created by combining similar color garments that are broken down into cotton fiber and spun together.
Certified by GRS Global Recycled Standard, Textile and Health Association, TF Fashion, and OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
THREAD
Sewn with undyed organic cotton thread made in Holland by Scanfill. Certified by Global Organic Textile Standard and OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
Embroidered with lyocell thread made in Germany by Madeira. Lyocell made from plant fibers harvested in Austria and produced in a closed loop process. Certified by Forest Stewardship Council and OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
CARD
Made with 100% post consumer content paper by Sustana in Wisconsin using renewable electricity and a chlorine free process. Printed with Algae Ink in Berkeley by Greener Printer.
BOX
Made in Colorado by EcoEnclose from 100% post consumer content cardboard printed with Algae Ink.
ALGAE INK
Carbon-negative ink made in Colorado by Living Ink Technologies from bio-based raw materials (from waste produced by the agricultural industry) and colored with Algae Black pigment made from renewable algae waste and other agricultural waste sources.
